As we are approaching the new season I thought you might like to see that some of us have been hard at work fitting a new kitchen into the club thanks to a grant we received from the Braintree MI Community fund.

The grant enabled us to install double glazing into the main clubhouse, a new efficient heating system and the new kitchen. A further donation we received allowed us to install double glazing into the changing room and shower area.

All of these works have given the clubhouse a much more modern feel. It should also make the club much more attractive to would be hirers, especially in the winter months when hitherto it was difficult to heat the club due to our antiquated heating system and single glazed windows.
